3 Easy Steps To Becoming A Big Boy And Leaving Mom In Tears

Harrison took his first steps!! He WALKED. The tiny little baby thing that was growing in my stomach just a little over a year ago stood up and put one foot toward his grandpa (/bottle), and then the other first came from behind and moved toward grandpa, and then the foot that had made the initial step moved forward, and my little baby boy WALKED.

And then he fell over and we all made too big a deal of it, and he hasn't done it since.

But my baby boy walked.

Holy crap, he just transitioned into Toddlerhood.

Excuse me, I have some crying and smothering and hugging and loving and never letting go to do.

They grow up way too fast. My baby boy is potty trained! It is SO weird that I don't even have to change diapers anymore. It's nice, but I miss it, well the baby part of it, not the diapers.

Yeah, I spent a few hours with the 'rents yesterday and heard this story more than a few times. They were a little excited about it :)

Walking's not a big deal. I've been doing it for like 32 years now.
