Kindergarten in the 50's in the new millenium

Today was 50's Day at school, and first, let me just say, Lennon is ALWAYS the cutest.  Okay, moving forward...

I stayed and watched her play for a little while, and I witnessed some things that I feel like sharing.  Allow me to set this up in a format that doesn't require writing skills:

A) All the girls who wore poodle skirts were off in one corner, playing with their hair and giggling.  It was more than clear why Lennon was not interested in this group.

B)  Kids in special education who wear poodle skirts but aren't a part of the poodle skirt club are a zillion times cuter.  That's just my personal opinion, mind you, but I think you'd agree.

C)  Lennon likes boys who dress like 50's hoodlums.  This doesn't surprise me.  When she was two she used to pass by motorcyclists and tell them, "Oooh, cool bike."

D)  I think that if Lennon grew up in the 1950's she would have chewed a lot of gum.

E)  There's a kid on her playground who really, really likes going around in circles.  This has nothing to do with 1950's day (I don't think?) but it was noteworthy.  I mean, he LOVES getting dizzy.

ETA:  I can't find the cable for the camera, so no pictures just yet.  I'll put up Nerd Day and 50's Day tomorrow.  In the meantime, somebody should make me some muffins.  Thanks.

so did you have her in the black skin tight outfit from the end of grease? and if so were you able to tease her hair? Did she pick up the phrase "tell me about it stud"?

I have no muffins but do have oatmeal scotchies to offer...
